1. Who we are
stream8.io is a creator workspace for streamers. This policy explains what information we collect when you use it and how we use it.
2. What we collect
- Account details: your email address and sign-in information.
- Workspace content: hunts, bonuses, scenes, uploaded images, settings, giveaways and tournaments you create.
- Connected accounts: if you connect Kick, your Kick username and account ID, and access tokens needed to read chat commands and post replies.
- Chat activity: viewer usernames and chat messages that reach your channel's bot, such as requests, picks and predictions, and recent chat shown on overlays.
- Payments: if you subscribe to Pro, your subscription status. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by stream8.io.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as pages visited and browser type, used to keep the site working.
3. How we use it
- To run the service: save your workspace, power your overlays and bot, and process requests.
- To manage your Pro plan and billing.
- To keep the site secure and fix problems.
- To contact you about your account.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share it with
- Service providers that host the site, store data and process payments for us.
- Platforms you connect, such as Kick, to post bot replies.
- People you choose: moderators you invite, and anyone who opens an OBS link you share, which shows only what that scene displays.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. Recent live chat shown on overlays is kept only briefly. When you delete content or ask us to close your account, we remove it unless we must keep it by law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, export or delete your information, or object to how we use it. You can disconnect Kick at any time from your workspace. To make a request, contact us through the Support page. You can also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).
7. Cookies and storage
We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and remember your settings. We don't use advertising cookies.
8. Children
stream8.io is for people aged 18 and over.
9. Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
